About the scholarship
The For Utah Scholarship at the University of Utah is a last-dollar tuition and mandatory-fee program. Grants and scholarships from all sources are combined to cover those charges. The For Utah payment is the remaining balance after other grants and scholarships, and can be zero. Support begins in fall 2027 for up to eight semesters or the first bachelor’s degree, whichever comes first. Course, program, inclusive-access and e-book fees are generally outside the covered mandatory fees.
