AspireOpen is 100% free for students. Be honest in your profile and applications, don’t misuse the service, and remember that other websites we link to follow their own rules.
1. Using AspireOpen
AspireOpen helps students find and apply for scholarships. You must be at least 16 to create an account. We may add, change or remove features, and we’ll tell you before a change that affects your account or open applications.
2. Your account
Keep your login secure and your information accurate. You’re responsible for what happens in your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why when we can. You can delete your account at any time in your account settings.
3. Your content
You own what you write. By submitting an application you allow AspireOpen to store it and share it with the scholarship you applied to, so it can be reviewed. We don’t use your essays for anything else without asking you.
4. Our content
The site, guides and scholarship listings belong to AspireOpen or to the partners who provide them. You may use them for your own scholarship search. Listings from partner providers are shown as we receive them; always check the details on the provider’s own page.
5. What’s not allowed
- Submitting false information or someone else’s work.
- Creating more than one account.
- Scraping, copying or reselling listings or guides.
- Trying to access other people’s accounts or interfere with the service.
6. Third-party sites
AspireOpen links to websites run by others, such as schools and partner scholarship providers. Their own terms and privacy policies apply there, and we aren’t responsible for their content or decisions.
7. No guarantee of awards
AspireOpen doesn’t guarantee that you’ll win a scholarship or that a listing is still open. The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, AspireOpen isn’t liable for indirect losses or for decisions made by scholarship providers.
8. Changes and disputes
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. If we disagree about anything here, we’ll first try to resolve it informally through the Contact page.
9. Other terms
Scholarships run on AspireOpen also follow the Scholarship rules. How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy policy.
