These rules apply to scholarships you apply for on AspireOpen. Each scholarship’s page may add its own requirements.
1. General conditions
No purchase or payment is needed to apply or win. These rules apply to scholarships you apply for on AspireOpen. Partner listings that send you to another website follow that provider’s rules instead. Where a scholarship’s own page sets a different requirement, the scholarship page applies.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16, live in the United States, and be enrolled in or planning to enroll in an eligible education program. Each scholarship lists any extra requirements on its page.
3. How to apply
Submit the application on AspireOpen before the deadline shown on the scholarship page, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. You may apply once to each scholarship cycle.
4. Selection
Applications are reviewed against the criteria on the scholarship page. Selection decisions are final.
5. Notification and acceptance
Winners are notified by email and in the app. A winner must accept the award within 14 days; otherwise another applicant may be selected.
6. Award payment
Awards are paid to the winner’s school for education costs, after the school confirms enrollment. Winners are responsible for any taxes that may apply to their award.
7. Disqualification
We may disqualify an application that contains false information or someone else’s work, comes from more than one account, or breaks these rules.
8. Publicity
We only publish a winner’s name, photo or story with their permission.
