About the scholarship
The KU Rock Chalk Scholarship provides $2,000 per year for up to four years at the University of Kansas, for a total of up to $8,000. The award is based on the university’s in-state freshman scholarship grid. KU uses the weighted or unweighted high school GPA on a 4.0 scale, whichever benefits the student, after the sixth high school semester. A completed admission application and transcript are due December 1. The scholarship is renewable with full-time enrollment and a 3.0 cumulative KU GPA, for the first bachelor’s degree or eight continuous semesters, whichever comes first.
