About the scholarship
The Gail E. Weinstein Fellowship in Community Literacy Education supports continuing students in San Francisco State University’s M.A. English TESOL program who show potential and initiative as community literacy practitioners and partners. The $1,000 award is disbursed in spring. The application includes an unofficial transcript, a statement about community literacy experience and professional growth, and a statement about financial need. Applications are due November 1, 2026.
