UAB Transfer Pathway Scholarship
Who can apply
- Transfer applicant admitted to an undergraduate program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham by the scholarship deadline.
- The Transfer Pathway award requires a GPA of 3.0–3.49, including the most recent grades. An updated official transcript must arrive before the deadline; technical or remedial coursework does not count toward the scholarship GPA.
- For spring 2027 consideration, meet the December 1, 2026 priority deadline. Fall has a separate March 1 priority deadline.
- Current high school seniors, former UAB students, students who already hold a bachelor’s degree, and certificate-only students are not considered for these transfer academic scholarships.
- Under the 2026–2027 terms, applicants must be U.S. citizens, permanent residents or onshore students on select visa types. International students receiving governmental scholarships or other external support are not eligible.
- No additional scholarship application is required; consideration uses the admission application and timely records. Later applications are considered only as funding permits.
