Who can apply

• Retired, honorably discharged, active duty, National Guard or Reserve; separated with or currently holding rank E-5 or below.
• Completed Basic Training and follow-on training; financial need; participation, acceptance or enrollment in a VA-approved program or school at an accredited postsecondary institution.

About the scholarship

Awards are limited to one per family per semester and paid directly to accredited schools. Spring applications are accepted August 1 through November 15.
