Lisa Michelle Memorial Fund Scholarship
Who can apply
- Legal U.S. or Canadian citizen enrolled in a college, university or trade school, with proof of part-time or full-time college or university enrollment and a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.
- Loss of a parent or guardian, grandparent, sibling or spouse due to substance abuse, with written verification of the cause of death.
- Previous recipients do not qualify; previous applicants may apply again.
About the scholarship
The Spring 2027 competition offers three awards: $1,000 for first place, $500 for second place and $250 for third place. Submit the application personally, a recent transcript, written verification of the cause of death and an approximately 800–1,500-word essay describing the loss, its effect on your education and what the scholarship would mean to you. Applications and supporting materials are due November 30, 2026.
