About the scholarship
The Jeanie S. McCoy Scholarship from the Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers subsidizes research in tribology and lubrication engineering. The current 2027 program lists a $2,500 award per recipient; the committee may select two recipients. It recognizes women preparing for a career in the field. Applications are due December 1, 2026, and selection uses the application and supporting documents. Recipients must meet the research-report requirements before the remaining award payment is sent.
