About the scholarship

The IB Diploma Scholarship at Florida State University recognizes successful completion of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. The current award totals $8,000 across eight semesters, paid in $1,000 installments at the beginning of each fall and spring term, equivalent to $2,000 per academic year. Admitted first-year students are automatically considered; no separate scholarship application is required. The university encourages admission applications by December 1, 2026 because scholarship funding is limited.
