Capstone Legacy Scholarship - University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa

Who can apply

• Full-time transfer student at UA with a minimum 3.0 GPA and active leadership, volunteerism and community involvement.
• A qualifying parent or grandparent must have been an active National Alumni Association member for three of the five calendar years preceding the award year. Paying three years of dues in one year does not meet this condition.
• The scholarship is $1,000 per academic year.
• Be admitted to the University of Alabama and complete the ASAM scholarship application through myBama by December 5.
• The general competitive program does not require a previous National Alumni Association affiliation, except where the individual legacy award expressly requires qualifying family membership.

About the scholarship

The Capstone Legacy Scholarship is part of the University of Alabama’s competitive alumni scholarship program. It provides $1,000 per academic year to qualifying full-time transfer students with alumni family membership. Admission and the ASAM scholarship application are required by December 5.
