Alumni Legacy Scholarship - University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa

Who can apply

• Full-time UA undergraduate student who has completed at least two semesters on campus and has a minimum 3.0 UA GPA.
• A qualifying parent or grandparent must have been an active National Alumni Association member for three of the five calendar years preceding the award year. Paying three years of dues in one year does not meet this condition.
• Participate actively in campus clubs and organizations. Preference is given to Student Alumni Association/FATE members and students involved in alumni activities.
• The scholarship is $1,000 per academic year.
• Be admitted to the University of Alabama and complete the ASAM scholarship application through myBama by December 5.
• The general competitive program does not require a previous National Alumni Association affiliation, except where the individual legacy award expressly requires qualifying family membership.

About the scholarship

The Alumni Legacy Scholarship is part of the University of Alabama’s competitive alumni scholarship program. It provides $1,000 per academic year to qualifying continuing undergraduate students with alumni family membership. Admission and the ASAM scholarship application are required by December 5.
